Porex Filtration Introduces POREX® Tubular Membrane 61-Tube Module with Maximum Surface Area :
FAIRBURN, GA – Porex Corporation Porex® Filtration Division is pleased to announce the introduction of their 61 tube crossflow filtration module. This new configuration provides 61 one-half inch diameter tubes for 45.75 sq ft (4.25 sq M) of high solids concentrating surface area per module.
The Porex Tubular Membrane Module™ features unique structural membrane tubes, where the membrane is substantially anchored in, or chemically fused to the sintered porous plastic substrate tube. The modules are designed for crossflow filtration in the microfiltration and ultrafiltration range. This patented membrane/substrate composite resists damage from scratching and abrasion as well as tolerating high pressure in forward and reverse flow conditions. The resulting composites feature broad chemical, temperature and abrasion resistance.
Porex Tubular Membrane Modules™ provide unique solutions to high-solids filtration and separation problems. Applications include water and wastewater, lime softening, pre RO, heavy metals removal, CMP & sawing and grinding wastewater, fluoride removal, and oil water separation. The
